That's a wrap
After months of careful planning and hard work from the team, the Natural Stone Show is over, until 2021.
As the UK’s only exhibition and conference dedicated to natural stone and hard surfaces, visitors including architects, designers and developers, enjoyed 3 days of networking events, product displays and launches, giving inspiration and advice for their tiling and stone projects.
With around 200 exhibitors presenting more than 5,000 different materials from around the world, this year’s Natural Stone Show saw a diverse collection of tiles, stone, machinery, tooling and ancillary products assembled under one roof. Despite the current economic situation, footfall for the show was high, which was an encouraging sign for the industry.
On display, we had our key attraction and innovative centrepiece – showcasing how our Dukkaboard products work together in the context of the overall bathroom and wetroom design. Visitors where able to easily see and identify the solutions for substrate build up and preparation, waterproofing, underfloor heating and decoupling, profiles and finishing. Dukkaboard is a complete tile backer system for quality tiling, creative freedom and peace of mind, guaranteed for 25 years.
Making use of interactive technologies we were able to showcase Trimline as a business of scale and how we can support tile and stone installations and maintenance on projects across the UK. Backed up by our impressive credentials portfolio and coupled with our in-depth expertise and leading customer support, we are ideally placed to partner with you, on your next tiling project.
In conjunction to the existing exhibition, now in its 25th year, was the new Hard Surfaces section. In a separate area we were delighted to display our new high calibre tile range and stone slabs, sensitively sourced from across the globe, under the Pyro + Echo brand. Thanks to technology that has lifted the limitations on design and with imagination freed, we have curated a range of imitation materials giving all the authenticity and warmth of natural products but the advantages of a porcelain tile, from beautifully book-matched marbles, interior tiled stone floors that extend seamlessly onto outdoor areas, matching worktops, statement facades and cladding.
‘Once again, we’ve had another highly successful and rewarding show’ commented Matthew Hazell, company partner. We’ve seen a high level of interest on our Dukkaboard display with visitors expressing how it brought the concept to life, expertly demonstrating where and why to use what products.’
‘The Natural Stone Show is a significant event for everyone associated with the sector so it is very important for us to fully support our stone and tile industry in the UK and represent it in a positive way. Being here has given us the opportunity to maintain contact with our existing customers and architects, as well as meeting new clients. The quality of the visitors has been excellent, making this a very enjoyable and worthwhile experience. We would like to thank everyone that came to visit us, for their time and interest.’
