- Covid 19 Operational Policy
Following the latest developments regarding the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the UK, our policy is as follows:
Given yesterday’s announcement from the Prime Minister, that the DIY and Hardware store sector has been categorized as an essential retailer, and in accord with advice for the construction & building maintenance industries from the Secretary of State for Housing, we at Trimline Group will remain open.
At Trimline, you can be assured that our stock levels are high and our dispatch and delivery service is operating at full capacity. There are no disruptions to our normal excellent levels of service.
We have taken the necessary steps internally including strict social distancing measures. Only essential personnel are coming into work, and all other departments are fully functioning from home.
These internal procedures, aimed to contain the spread of the virus and to protect our employees and customers include:
Please note that until further notice the Trade Counter is closed. When any collections are made for orders placed in advance, drivers are requested to remain in their vehicles and a member of our team will load the order. We will also be adopting a ‘contact-free’ delivery experience. This ensures no ‘hand to hand’ contact, with the driver leaving the delivery safely with your team, and signing the POD on your behalf, noting the name of your staff member receiving the goods.
We are here to support the tiling trade and its members whose livelihoods depend on access to materials and supplies. At times like this the safety and well-being of our customers, staff, the general public, and members of the NHS, is of paramount importance and something we care deeply about.
We will continue to review our policy daily in line with Government advice and keep moving forward in the best way.
Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
